Please let us know if you suffer under any allergies and if you need special treated bed linen.

           Arrival

You can travel directly by tram or by bus for free with our reservation confirmation to the Hotel Basilisk.

By your arrival, you will get the Mobility-Ticket. All public transports are for free with this ticket.

    B     Bar

            The water bottles in your room are for free.

Additionally we serve refreshing drinks in the lobby or in your room.

 Bicycle

 You can put your bicycles free of charge in our garage. With pleasure we inform you about bicycle tours.

 Breakfast

You can have our continental breakfast buffet from Monday until Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and on Sundays from 7 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.

 Bus Parking Spaces

 Busses or high cars can be parked just in front of the Hotel over the night if there is a free space. There will be no   additional costs.

    C     Check in

             2 pm - If you arrive earlier, your luggage can be stored at the reception.

            Check out

            12 pm - Your luggage can also be stored at the reception by checking out.

            Children

            Children until the age of 6 years are free of charge in an additional bed. They don’t need a mobility ticket.

Children from 6 to 12 years pay CHF 20.— for an additional bed in every room category. They will get a Mobility Ticket without paying the city tax.

 Fans

            During summer time we put in every room a fan. Please let us know, if you need a fan in your room outside of the summer time.

 Fire Prevention

            The fire alarm system alarms directly the occupation fire-brigade during smoke development. It is strictly forbidden to use machines, which can be a fire risk, like iron, immersion heater,

            hotplates, heating covers etc.

            When smoking, please be extremely careful. Smoking is only allowed in smoking rooms.

            Escape plans are in each room by the entrance door.

Fridge

            There is a fridge on every floor. All our guests can use it and put their food and beverage in there.

Please put your name on your food and beverage. The Hotel is not responsible for any theft.

     I      Internet

There is an internet cable connection in every room. You can use our W-LAN in the lobby, in the restaurant and in the breakfast room.

The internet is not included in the room rate. You can buy different vouchers at the reception.

Please note our different price categories:

30 min	CHF   6.—
1 h	CHF 10.—
2 h	CHF 15.—
4 h	CHF 20.—
24 h	CHF 25.—

            These time limits count as online-time. You can log in and log out as often as you want to.
            A voucher is valid for 3 month.

    L     Laundry

You have a laundry bag in your room. You can put your dirty laundry into the bag and bring it down to the reception. Please be so kind to bring the bag and the form to the reception before 9 am. We will bring it to a laundry. Your clothes will come back in the late afternoon. You will find the pricelist for this service in the cupboard.  

   M     Mobility-Ticket

            With the Mobility-Ticket you can use the public transportation in Basel for free. Children until 6 years don’t need a ticket.

    P     Parking

            The Hotel Basilisk owns 10 parking lots close to the Hotel. Please let us know if you need a parking space before your arrival. If there isn’t anymore place in our parking, you can go to the parking “Claramatte” which is close to the hotel.

The phone is linked with the reception. To dial a phone number always pre-dial a „0“ before typing in the requested number.

    R     Reception

Our reception is occupied 24h. Please use the door bell on the left side in front of our Hotel from 11 pm to 6 am.

Restaurant

There are a lot of different types of restaurants in Basel. With pleasure we inform you about specialties and recommendations. In our house we have a separately managed restaurant.  

    S     Safe

You can find a complementary safe in every room. Please let us know if you need any help.

            Smokers

            Please let us know if you need a smoking or a non-smoking room before your arrival. It’s not allowed to smoke in   public areas!

Seniors

Please ask about our special rates for seniors. Attention, these prices are not valid for online bookings!

            Television

You can find cable television in every room. We have got national and international channels.

    W     Wake-up call

            You can book a wake-up call at the reception or program the phone in your room.
